Curse of the expanding waistline

15 weeks in now and clothes are starting to be a problem. I have plenty of larger sizes left over from my bigger days, but the problem is that I'm not the same shape as I was when I was larger. My arms, shoulders, and legs are still the same size as I was pre-baby, though the same cannot be said for the waist and hips... larger size clothes, while they do kinda fit, just don't quite hang right.

By the same token, I'm not yet big enough to fit into maternity clothes. You need a real bump to make the most of those, and that's not likely to really start to happen for another month. In the meantime, while casual clothes tend to be ok, it's getting harder to find stuff to wear when I have to visit customer sites. I'm down to 1 x suit, 1 x skirt, and 1 x trousers with some slightly baggy-looking blouses and tops with baggy shoulders and good length & stretch... and it's only going to get harder until someone decides to really start growing and I can finally head to the Maternity section in the shops!

The only other symptom of note is my constant exhaustion - not helped by having to continually visit customer sites on early trains and planes, or by the fact that I tend to have to wake up and go to the bathroom at least once in the middle of the night these days. I guess that's not likely to get much easier in future either. Ah well - if anyone needs me, I'll be under my desk, sleeping... zzzzzzz

Yep, welcome to the symptoms of middle age (although at leasy yours will go away again). Waist getting bigger, while the rest remains the same.

I'm tired all of the time too, but that's due to working late alot as the athletics and cricket were so exciting. Both the up and downsides of being able to watch the tv while at home 'working'.
