February 2006 Entries
Where to start - well, in case you've not seen it, James did a great job of summing up those first few hours and included photos here. Since those first few hours, much, and little, has happened. Nathan and I came home on Wednesday evening. I was only too glad to get out of there - staying in hospital is just not pleasant. With the traumas of the birth still fresh in my mind, plus the physical aches and pains, coming home lifted my spirits somewhat.
We've been home now for a while, and I've been on a complete emotional rollercoaster...
Nathan James Hart, born at 1:27am Feb 14th 2006 after a very long, arduous labour! 4.26kg (something like 9.6lb), so he was big as predicted! Pictures to follow in the next few days.
According to a variety of sources, only 5% of babies arrive on their official "due date". Today is Mr Bump's official day, and he's not arrived yet. Not even a twinge. Nothing. Blood pressure normal, and I'm still able to move around and walk about, and even tidy up the house a bit.
There are some annoying symptoms I'm feeling, though. In the last couple of weeks, my hands and feet have swolen up a bit,...

The two main betas, Windows Live Messenger (MSN Messenger 8), and IE 7, have proved to be nice and unstable, with usability problems and bugs all over the place.
Let's just start with MSN 8 - for starters, it's not immediately obvious any more whether a contact is "Away" or "Busy", since the icon is the same for both - the only way to check is to hover over the contact. Then there's the fact...
