We've all been down south visiting James's parents in Wimbourne (near Poole / Bournemouth), and it's been fantastic to have some extra hands available for cuddles / playtime with Nathan. We've managed to pop down to the beach, and Nathan's had his first seaside experience, getting his toes wet in the sea, and feeling the warm sand underfoot.
Things are going really quite badly on the house-selling front. We had one viewing in the first week, then nothing since then - and it's been about 8 weeks now. Going to have to think about what we can do to get things moving... we have some ideas, so it's just a matter of time.
Oh yes, you'll probably notice (if you're viewing the blog on http://blogs.ipona.com/chris, and not reading this through an rss reader or on the digitalstrawberry website) that my blog now has some sparkly new css - I downloaded the new Expression web design tool from Microsoft the other day so I could have a play with its css editing tools. It was pretty good to work with, but as usual, I was happiest with just tweaking the stuff by hand and previewing in the browser. It's getting there, but there are some annoying bugs. The usual sort - flick to preview and back and things don't always stay as they were. Well, what do you expect from a tech preview! It's just great to have a new toy to play with every now and then.
Going to get back to watching some more Wimbledon now - one of the things I've enjoyed most while being on maternity leave at this time of year!
