Seasons Greetings!

Firstly, hello and Happy Christmas to all! Apologies to all friends for complete lack of cards this year (though, as you will likely know, we're not exactly great at remembering such things at the best of times!), but combinations of illness, house moving / not moving / chasing lawyers, collapsing TV aerials, leaky roofing, and broken glasses, have all made life extremely hectic in recent times!

Nathan's running around all over the place and finding all sorts of things that aren't designed for babies, which may have contributed to him having his third tummy bug in as many months - and anyone who has dealt with the Evil Custard Poo Virus™ can tell you that it ain't pretty! He's finally managed to shrug them off and seems relatively healthy now, so fingers crossed he'll stay that way for a week or two! We've been having a lot of fun taking him to the local warehouse-style play centre (Hickory Dickorys in Kings Heath), which is fabulous fun for children from around Nathan's age up to the age of around 11.

House moving has turned into a complete nightmare - there are now ten parties in the chain, and there's a slow link right at the bottom of the chain. I'm not even going to attempt to explain it here, but the short story is that this slow link _may_ cause the top of the chain to go a bit pear-shaped because the people at the top are purchasing a new build house. We were hoping that we could at least exchange last week, and possibly even move, but no such luck. In the end, we spent until Thursday with a minimum of stuff left unpacked before finally putting up some Christmas decorations and giving up all hope of a pre-Christmas move. As a result, we decided to come down to James's parents for Christmas to enjoy ourselves away from boxes.

Anyway, I just wanted to wish you all well for the festive season, and hopefully, possibly, maybe we will move house shortly after Christmas... and perhaps things will settle down a bit!
