Instead, Scott Krause’s defense will argue that the defendant believed he was trying to escape man-eating subterranean beings when he ran into Drew Reynolds’ truck on Jan. 6, 2004.
In three court-ordered evaluations, the defendant stated he was fleeing subterranean beings he called “hemadrones” when he carjacked a commercial vehicle near a Nevada City, Calif., gas station and then crashed into Reynolds’ service vehicle.

Finally took the plunge yesterday and met up with the Yakyak forum crowds down in London to go see Batman Begins at the IMAX down there. Came out of the film grinning like a loon so something must be right with the film. Strictly speaking, there's not actually much wrong with the film. Even Katie Holmes is okay in her small role and I'm looking forward to see whether or not Chris Nolan can tempt Sean Penn into being the Joker for the next installment. I'm not worried about this films legs but given its neon pink predecessor, now that...

ICANN's been in the Register quite a bit recently. First, they try to force through Verisign's reinstatement as registry for the .NET tld - unsuccessfully as it turns out - and now they are suggesting some sort of protocol that allows companies to protect their trademarks automatically when new global TLDs, such as .jobs and .travel, are ratified.
It's with wry amusement from a sponsored tld registry that I read this. Almost every other candidate has attacked ICANN's amendments of the judging criteria and their 'independent judges' and yet their nomination continues. One thing that intrigues me the most here...

My boss at 3Form, Stef, has just won the Birmingham Young Professional of the Year award. This is great news and he is also up for the Arena O2 Entrepreneur Award, which he may well win. I hope he'll write a better thank you speech if he does though. Improvisation isn't great.
