Now to listen to it...

9 months, 400 artists, 900 CDs, 12000 tracks, 57GB and 960 hours of music later, I've finished ripping my music collection as it stands. There are of course more on the way and the amazon wish list has a few hundred more, but it'll do to be getting on with. Where do I sign up to stress test WMP11\Vista? Voldemort Strikes Back

I managed to catch the new Harry Potter film today through some weird stroke of fate. I rolled into the cinema at lunchtime to find out that every screening this evening was sold out. I walked back out, then figured what the hey, walked back in and on the offchance of the screens lieing, scored the last ticket to the 5.20 performance. Now I knew there would be 20 minutes of trailers but I got there at 5.40 wondering exactly where the last seat in the auditorium would be. Perhaps on the front row looking at a screen so huge...

XQuery 1.0 and XSLT 2.0 now Candidate Recommendations

Michael Rys has pointed out that the W3C have finally reached candidate recommendation level with these interdependent specs. As far as I recall, .NET 2.0 supports XQuery but not XSLT 2.0, but it won't be long before libraries will be made available for both one would suspect.

The hmobius mail server has been down for a week. Any mail to mine or Jane's emails is being forwarded to danmharry at yahoo.co.uk and janemaharry at yahoo.co.uk, but if you'd prefer to email there direct for the time being, that would be great.
