It's not too late to take part in Blogathon 2007 and raise some money for your favourite charity. The premise is simple. Starting at 1300GMT tomorrow, you pledge to write a new blog post every 30 minutes for 24 hours. Friends and other people agree to sponsor your insomniac insanity. This is a good idea(tm). Much like when Scott Hanselman decided to twitter his diabetes routine for a day to raise awareness and money for Diabetes Research. Even if you can't take part, take some time to sponsor someone.

For those of us who couldn't attend the main event in Las Vegas in the Spring, Microsoft announced and have now opened the registration for Mix:UK '07 to take place in London on September 11-12. All for the early bird price of £199. Bargain!
There's also an official Mix:UK '07 blog open at http://mixuk07.spaces.live.com/ to keep us abreast of the sessions as they are confirmed. Let's hope London hasn't been flooded by the time it comes around.

Scott Hanselman published a couple of inf files to add a Visual Studio Command Prompt Here option to your explorer context menu. Here's a new INF file to add a VS2008 beta 1 command prompt to explorer.
INF: Visual Studio 2008 "Command Prompt Here" (save, then right click and "install")
N.B. It does assume you've installed VS 2008 in its default directory.
