One Canon DC215 Digital Camera in hand and a whole city of miscellaneous oddities to see. Wanna see a horse laying apparently dead in the middle of the street so everyone must drive around it, only to get up because it has finished its nap? Or the various hues of cow that the populace paints them for the various festivals? Patience—you’ll get there sooner or later. Meantime, here’s the ones that are half good.

Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens
- The glass house with no glass and only a bit of roof.
- Spit bin and dustbin. As long as that's clear then.
- There's an outcropping of rock in Lalbagh with a temple on top of it. The shrine's not that interesting but the rock is 3000 million years old apprently. It's technically called peninsular gneiss.
- Topiary from a warped mind
- Think you could build a tree house from this?
Antharaganga Hill
- The shrine in the pool halfway up Antharaganga. Here you can wash your sins away if you're the right religion.
- Like most hill regions, the hills are basically packed dirt with huge rocks on top. House-sized rocks, that is.
- The temple and basically the area below that are literally strewn with monkeys. Top one has baby holding onto her front.
- The way down from the temple and the way up.
From Bangalore to Mysore
- One of Bangalore city station's helpful signs
- Typical sights on the railway between Bangalore and Mysore (1 2). One not so typical.
- The twenty one gun salute signalling the start of the Dasara parade in Mysore. (1 2 3 4 5)
The smoke hides the quick exit of two cows previously sitting down five yards from the muzzle ends of the cannons.
- Mysore parade. Floats, more floats, red elephants, blue elephants and onlookers.
- Mysore Palace Gardens
