When Technology Goes Wrong, Part 2

So a nice communication from Amazon today about my missing order. Actually I lie, the mail wasn't nice, essentially blaming me, saying that the delivery times are only an estimate and I should check with my neighbour. It then gave the address of where they delivered the items to; not me, not my neighbour, not even a town remotely close to me. What's interesting is that this was a split order; even though I said deliver the items all at once, they delivered one item first, then proceded to lose the plot. Quite clearly they didn't really read my mail, nor investigate the problem. Sigh.

But you see, Davey my boy, it's probably a database problem anyway ... and if the happened to learn programming from one of your books, particularly the '97 version, whaddaya gonna do? ;-)

Miss ya', doode!
