Since losing my main music drive I've been re-ripping my CDs (over 1,000 of them) and have come to the conclusion that much as I like Windows Media Player, it's a pile of pants. It regularly crashes, or "encounters a problem" in Microsoft speak, meaning I have to restart it and refind my place in the music I was listening too, which is often a long radio show. Vista's "Problem Reports and Solutions" shows no solutions to install and the only information about other problems is a link to a problem caused by Flash Player. Way to go Microsoft; let's highlight...
Alex put me onto these guys, so Kudos where it's due. Yesterday I ordered a new monitor from ITC Sales, one of those places that do discount kit. A couple of minutes ago it arrived. Exceedingly cheap and very fast. Can't get much better than that.
