If you’re a Mac user running Tiger (OS X version 10.4) you may not have discovered a very cool Dictionary feature, yet, so I thought I’d share it.
In Safari (or other applications that link to Tiger’s on-board dictionary), hold the cursor over a word and hold down Control+Command+D and the definition pops up on screen!
You can even swap the keyboard shortcut to one of the unused function keys like F7 or F13. Open System Preferences, find the Keyboard & Mouse panel and choose the Keyboard Shortcuts tab. Scroll right down to the bottom of the list where you’ll find the...
After bumping into an old Uni friend I’d lost touch with, I decided it was high time the Comedy Society re-formed... if only for a day! The football team that I joined more than a year ago has finally pulled its finger out and published its website! The site has even been featured in a forthcoming book. You can view the illustrations I did in the team shop and a read about how I have recently become the team’s healer.
In fact, Frog Box Design was even in charge of the Wrox United branding effort, coming up with the logo and giving the site a colour scheme to match the club’s colours.*
