I’ve had another photo picked as an admin fave!
This time, it’s the Flower Factory in their week 44 theme Sensational Stamens/Pistil
I guess it goes without saying that I’m having an absolute blast with my Flickr photostream at the moment... Now all I need to do, is start selling my pics and... well who knows, maybe even put together my first exhibition. (This is a far-off dream at the moment, but I thought I'd let the idea go free into the wild and see what happens! ;)
I’ve had two photos picked as admin faves in the last 24 hours!
Coincidentally, they’re both of dahlias, which is appropriate for this time of year, but they were taken a year apart! They are this one, ‘Dahlia Symmetry’ (see comments on the photo for the admin fave part)
and this one, ‘Orange dahlia’ which may look familiar as I already posted it here.
This one has made it into the Flower Petal Macro Admin Faves which the thread simply states is for admin faves, the best of the best.

Another year has flown by and with that comes retrospection. So, in what has become an annual tradition, what have I (and Schrödinger) been up since this time last year?
In July, I worked on a secret project, and went fishing (again)!
In August, I enjoyed everyone else’s good news, unveiled the secret project and and learnt to speak “White Goods”.
In September, I crumbled, showed you how to draw animal portraits, and gave the Pre-Raphaelites some (standards compliant) style.
In October, I gave a quick explanation of Access Technology, and tech-reviewed Head First HTML...
I’m glad the Frog Prince and I escaped yesterday while the weather was still nice! Especially since the BBC’s forecasting blizzards in Birmingham later this week

The last couple of weeks have been all about:
work (on the book)
plans (for the big escape—the Frog Prince gets to go over the wall first because he’s managed to dig his escape tunnel already!)
but yesterday we went out to play
